Above my desk, I have a small post-it note on which I have written: ‘write into the wild unknown’. It’s a quote from this Natalie Goldberg book, words which sung out to me. I consider it to be good advice whatever you are writing, but it’s particularly relevant to my current writing project which is, in many ways, an exploration of the wild unknown.
