Hello, lovely reader
Small Stories is series of letters from me to you about searching for magic & meaning. These are the secrets of my writing life, sent from my tiny loft-room study straight to your inbox. If you are a seeker of everyday beauty who moves through the world with wide-eyed attentiveness, this is a space for you.
What Subscribers Receive:
All subscribers receive my monthly Small Stories letters in which I share something that caught my attention, a moment that felt charged with meaning—a story I think you would like.
Paid subscribers receive a weekly note from me each Friday. In addition to my letters, these include:
— Love List (what I’m reading & loving each month)
— Postcards (shorter, more personal pieces)
— Voice Notes (come with me on my walks & writing adventures)
— ‘The Feeling of Writing a Book’ (insights into my book writing process)
About Me:
I’m a fog-loving writer and photographer who lives in the green hills of the English Cotswolds. On my 15th birthday, my dad gave me an Olympus Trip camera and made our downstairs cloakroom into a home darkroom—I’ve been taking pictures ever since. I have an MA in Modern & Contemporary Poetry from the University of Bristol.
My first book Little Stories of Your Life, published by Quadrille, is available in bookshops and online. I’m currently working on my second book (which will be published in August 2024), whilst chasing foggy mornings and seeking dancing light.
My work has appeared in publications including The Simple Things, Ernest Journal, Project Calm, Country Homes & Interiors, Oh Magazine, Metro and Lionheart. I spent three years as the Deputy Editor of independent lifestyle magazine 91.
I share my smallest stories over on Instagram.
