I so enjoyed reading this Laura. It’s so true that the times when we leave the washing up and our routines often means the memories are etched deeply. This morning we walked past a
bench where, 3 summers ago, we took an impromptu picnic on a balmy June evening, and I remembered vividly the ducks and swans and dragonflies as well as the scotch eggs. I’m inspired to seek the poppy field tonight. ☺️
