Love this. I agree that we transfer something of ourselves to the things around us. And I love the distillation of your writing to there's magic in the everyday. I feel this too.
What a magical place. I’ve taken to writing thoughts, things to do, quotes on random bits of scrap paper and sticking them to the wall. It is a collage of everyday life -details that we sometimes miss.
Oh goodness, I love the idea of this Museum and the lists. How great your brother knew it would be a place you would adore. Lists…..so much to say including the sharpened pencil and ‘proper paper’ some require, the ‘I must write it NOW, and that edge of the newspaper will do, even though I know I may lose it’, to the ‘ I must rewrite this list’ and the ‘I’ll write down what I’ve just accomplished so I can run a highlighter through it and say Done!’ Thank you for your words
Oh that’s such a fascinating practice, Mel!

Thank you so much Deborah. Distillation is the perfect word for it.

Absolutely in love with this entry. You paint such a beautiful picture, I want to run off to Vermont tomorrow!
Oh thank you so much! It truly is an incredible place.
You write with such a feeling of nostalgia. Just beautiful.
Thank you so much Sandy. 🤍
Always!
I like to write secret notes and stick them in books I leave in the Little Free Libraries in my city or post on cork boards in coffee shops.
I love that Lisa!
Always!
Love it❤️
Thank you Linda.

Lists really do contain multitudes, don’t they? And September really does feel like a month for them...
