Your perspective on ‘how you see things’ reminds me to engage all of my senses instead of staying singularly focused on seeing with just my eyes. It opens up life in a whole new way, doesn’t it? ❤️

Lovely piece--especially your message to the boys at the end’

Love the message to the boys. Sometimes we all need to be reminded that what we’re seeing/experiencing is beauty filled with awe and wonder--especially through the steady onslaught of its opposite--violence, injustice, desperation.

Closer to danger and closer to beauty. Makes me think about a line in a song I like by Pearly Jam in which it talks about death over our shoulder. Maybe if we kept all three of those thoughts in our minds, I wonder how differently we might lead our lives and make every moment count. Just like you reminding your boys to memorize that time together and the beauty. Great piece and Thank You for the reminder. We all probably need that from time to time.
